Vehicles for Change and MileOne Autogroup Award Cars to Veterans in Need of Transportation
(Owings Mills, MD) - November 21, 2024 - Today, at a special presentation hosted by Vehicles for Change and MileOne Autogroup at Heritage Toyota in Owings Mills, 10 cars were awarded to veterans in honor of Veterans Day. The event included Maryland Secretary of Veteran Affairs Anthony C. Woods and Maryland State Senator William C. Smith, Jr., who recognized the vital role reliable transportation plays in empowering veterans to access employment, healthcare, and community life.

MileOne Autogroup helps 10 Maryland veterans get on the road
(Owings Mills, MD) - November 14, 2024 - For some veterans, life can be challenging after leaving active duty. For 10 Maryland veterans, their journey just got a little lighter. They received new-to-them cars through Vehicles For Change, a nonprofit that rehabs used cars with the help of MileOne Autogroup. They picked up their keys at a key ceremony, held at Heritage Toyota in Owings Mills. The cars purred as the veterans hopped in their cars and started them up one by one.
