Spotlight On Maryland-MileOneCares Community Car Seat Program
(Baltimore, MD) - November 28, 2024 - This week on Spotlight On Maryland, Gina Crash was joined in studio by Amanda Kodeck, Chief Giving Officer of MileOneCares, and via phone with Tracy Whitman, Program Coordinator, Maryland Kids in Safety Seats, (KISS), to talk about the MileOneCares Community Car Seat Program that launched in 2022 and recently expanded with their Car Seat Distribution Events. Each month at Heritage Toyota Owings Mills, they distribute free car seats to underserved families in the Baltimore Metro Area. These events are designed for expectant parents and newborns up to 6 months to ensure the smallest among us ride safely from day one.
