Car Seat Distribution Events

What kind of seat will I receive?

We will be distributing Evenflo SureRide/ Titan 65 Convertible Car Seats. This seat is an appropriate and safe option for newborns, and is designed to grow with your child. If you are in need of a car seat for an older child, please register for one of our Car Seat Safety & Distribution Events by visiting our Event Calendar.

I need more than one seat. Is this possible?

We will provide multiple seats only if you have or are expecting twins or triplets. Other than that, this program is limited to one seat per child/household.

What should I expect when I arrive?

Please follow event signage and walk up to the distribution table. We will check you in and provide you with your car seat. Installation will not take place at this event but we are happy to answer any questions if time permits.

What time should I pick up my car seat?

Arrive any time between 12PM and 2PM. Please do not arrive outside that window as seats will not be available.

Is there a cost for this event?

No. We're committed to keeping babies safe through our MileOneCares Car Seat Community Program. We sponsor these events as part of our philanthropic program, MileOneCares. To learn more about the ways we're impacting our communities, visit www.MileOneCares.com. 

Can I register for two events?

Please only register for one event so we can ensure that everyone who needs a seat can receive one.

Do I need to register in advance?

We strongly encourage everyone to register in advance to ensure we have enough seats for all participants.

What should I do if I cannot make the event?

If you can no longer make the event, please let us know by clicking the "cancel" button in the confirmation email you received upon registration.

Can I send someone to pick up the seat for me?

Yes, as long as the person who is picking up the seat has your QR code, we can give them the seat.

Do I need to bring my child to the event?

No.

Will my seat get installed in my car?

No, we will not be installing car seats. However, we can answer questions about the installation if time permits.

Can you ship a car seat to me?

No, distribution of car seats will take place in person on the date you register for between 12PM and 2PM.

What's the difference between the Car Seat Education & Installation Events and these monthly Car Seat Distribution Events?

These monthly distribution events are designed for expecting parents or primary care givers that have babies six months of age and younger. There will be no formal installation or safety training on-site. You may arrive any time within the pick up window to receive your seat. While registration is suggested, you will not receive a specific appointment time.

Our Car Seat Education & Installation Events are a more in-depth program where guardians are educated about the proper installation of their seat by certified passenger safety technicians. Appointments last approximately 45 minutes, take place at various MileOne locations and are designed for children of all ages who are in need of a seat. ¿Qué tipo de asiento recibiré?


Distribuiremos asientos de seguridad convertibles Evenflo SureRide/ Titan 65 Convertible Car Seat. ¿Necesito más de un asiento. Será posible?

Proporcionaremos varios asientos solo si tiene o está esperando gemelos o trillizos. Aparte de eso, este programa está limitado a un asiento por niño/hogar.

¿Qué debo esperar cuando llegue?

Estacione su automóvil y camine hasta la mesa de distribución. Lo registraremos y le proporcionaremos su asiento para el automóvil. La instalación no se llevará a cabo en este evento, pero estaremos encantados de responder cualquier pregunta si el tiempo lo permite.

¿A qué hora debo recoger mi silla de auto?

¿Tiene algún costo este evento?

¿Puedo registrarme para dos eventos?

¿Se instalará mi asiento en mi automóvil?

No, no instalaremos asientos para el automóvil. Sin embargo, podemos responder preguntas sobre la instalación si el tiempo lo permite.

¿Pueden enviarme un asiento para el automóvil?

No, la distribución de asientos para el automóvil se llevará a cabo en persona en la fecha de registro entre las 12PM y las 2PM.

¿Cuál es la diferencia entre los eventos de educación y instalación y estos eventos de distribución mensuales?

Estos eventos de distribución mensual están diseñados para futuros padres o cuidadores primarios que tienen bebés de seis meses de edad o menos. No habrá instalación formal ni capacitación de seguridad en el sitio. 

>Puede llegar en cualquier momento dentro de la ventana de recogida para recibir su asiento. Si bien se sugiere registrarse, no recibirá una hora de cita específica. 

Nuestros eventos de educación y instalación son un programa más profundo en el que técnicos certificados en seguridad de pasajeros educan a los tutores sobre la instalación adecuada de su asiento.
