Smith Family Foundation, and MileOne Autogroup together announced financial donations in support of the Maryland Tough Baltimore Strong Key Bridge Fund.

WBFF, The Baltimore Sun, and the largest restaurant group in the city of Baltimore, Atlas Restaurant Group will each donate $50,000 to the recovery fund. The David D. Smith Family Foundation and the region's largest car dealer group, MileOne Autogroup, will each donate $100,000 to the fund.

"Caring for our communities isn't just a responsibility; it's a privilege. We are honored to support the Maryland Tough Baltimore Strong Key Bridge Fund, amplifying our commitment to fostering resilience and unity in the heart of our city," said Billy Robbins, VP and General Manager, WBFF.

The Maryland Tough Baltimore Strong Key Bridge Fund at Baltimore Community Foundation has been established to provide ongoing support to the recovery and resilience efforts for families, port workers, first responders, law enforcement, U.S. Coast Guard workers, small businesses, and communities affected by the March 26 Key Bridge tragedy. 100% of all funds raised through the fund will go back directly to the community.

Today Governor Moore announced the fund and what it will mean for the community:

"Today we launch a new partnership with leaders in the public and private sectors. It is called the Maryland Tough Baltimore Strong Alliance. The alliance is made up of leaders who are doubling down on their commitment to this city and their commitment to this state. Many have agreed to not lay off employees. Many have agreed to return to Baltimore even if they need to move somewhere else temporarily. All have agreed to help us build a better future. Foundations. Businesses, sports teams, and community champions have committed a combined 15 million dollars thus far to support our workers and our neighbors in this moment. The alliance is over 50 members strong, and we are only getting stronger. Maryland is building a table that is large enough to include everybody from our federal partners to nonprofit leaders to our entrepreneurs to our port workers." Moore said.
