Celebrating Child Passenger Safety Week with a car seat giveaway (WBFF)

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — September 23, 2022 - Heritage MileOne Autogroup and Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital came together during Child Passenger Safety Week for a car seat giveaway for Baltimore-area families in need today.

Since it is Child Passenger Safety Week, Kodeck says they want to encourage parents and caregivers to make sure they are securing their child in the correct car seat for their age, height and weight.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration estimates that child safety seats can reduce fatal injuries by 71% for infants younger than one-year-old, and 54% for toddlers in passenger vehicles.
